I wrote a book about my daughter Mia and what we went through since finding out she would be born with disiabilities. I have never got this book published, but made it into a photo book for memories sake. I was thinking after reading lisajkings blog that I too should write and perhaps get my book across to people this way. Reading and crying over Lisa'a blog lately she inspired me to keep a written record of my life with Mia incase one day I suddenly do not have her anymore. So, i have been looking through photos etc trying to work out where to begin...perhaps at the very beginning of our life in the Territory....and so it is TIME TO START.
our wedding day at Bicheno on the East Coast of Tas. Just before we left Tasmania for our Territory adventure. Our family complete! (so i thought) Little did I know Mia was already in my stomach- she too attended the wedding! Our Noah would follow some years later......and this time our family really is complete!!!!
Welcome to blogland Tania, it's a truly amazing story you have to tell. It's great that you are sharing it. I look forward to reading more. Take care, G
ReplyDeleteWow Tania.... I have tears in my eyes reading your story. I love how you wrote that you don't see Mia as having a disability. I know exactly what you mean. My second daughter Addison (18 mths) has Down Syndrome - I don't see her as having a disability either. To me she is just my gorgeous daughter Addi. Look forward to following your story
